Real Wedding | Libby & Mitch

It was delightful creating stationery for our close friends Libby & Mitch, who tied their love knot intimately at Pilu on a drizzly afternoon with their nearest and dearest.

Having been privy to the planning of Mitch & Libby's beautiful day; one of my favourite things about their approach was witnessing their confidence in creating the day that made sense for them as a couple. From having their wedding photographs taken prior to the ceremony so they could celebrate with their family & friends post-ceremony to placing emphasis upon the food & wine rather than flowers and traditions; their wedding celebrated everything we know and love about Libby & Mitch.

I sneakily created an artwork that featured in Mitch's proposal to Libby and they knew they wanted to extend the calligraphy style featured in that piece throughout their wedding stationery. With Freshwater Beach as their ceremony backdrop, their stationery featured soft linen cardstock and a biscuit envelope to subtly tie in the coastal setting of their venue. The suite - from the invitations to the simple but cohesive place cards & menus - allowed the couples' warm, elevated but minimalist styling to shine.
