Real Wedding | Kate & Jon

One of my favourite aspects of creating custom stationery for couples' is seeing how much of their story & personality can be infused in the design and card stock. As a creative studio that leans towards simple luxury over print, pattern and colour, this has to be executed in the minor details - in the font & paper choices and tone & language of the suite.

For clients, Kate & Jon Bucceri, this was a heavenly task as their aesthetic was similarly influenced by Italy and simple, clean lines. (You can see a beautiful illustration of how these two influences are beautifully blended in their Darling Point home featured in Real Living). One of the things I greatly appreciated about working with Kate was how aesthetically driven she was - unsurprising for the PR Manager of Tiffany & Co. Kate approached The Blackline Bottega with a very clear vision of what she was after and how the pieces would be used across their wedding day in Florence. 

We created a digital save the date & invitation - featuring modern lettering and organic spacing - to allow the intimate guest list time to make preparations for their Italian sojourn (As per above).

We also created illustrations & a suite of deckle edge stationery for the day of the wedding - order of ceremony, menus, a map & itinerary and thank you cards. The illustrations were used as a beautiful detail throughout the wedding; the wine glass & bottle illustration we created was printed on gifts for the guests and canvas bags for guests' dancing shoes.
